Where artists with a common cause unite to create a stronger voice in making this a better, more fun and inspiring place - one creative person at a time!

Art Ecologie is a movement, a calling, a passion for all art that is recycled, up-cycled, repurposed eco friendly and sustainable. We are individual artists that converged here due to our natural calling, our similarities and our passions.

Art Ecologie is the mother from which ecoFAB Trash Couture was borne!

Art Ecologie is the domino effect caused by one artist’s desire to spice things up. Flavia Lovatelli was asked to participate in an event creating a dress out of recycled paper and because this experience was so extraordinary and creatively stimulating, she beckoned everyone around to join in one way or another. Marcee Musgrove became her partner soon after in having the same passion as Flavia in the desire to make art more exciting, change things up, add a different spin to art by melding it with fashion. It’s not about the fashion but the art behind it all.

Flavia and Marcee are the driving force organizing the “Art Ecologie art of fashion events." Art Ecologie is about the collective voice that will resound stronger and louder in the effort to bring the light back to our art. It’s about the community, about all our beliefs, about each other. The Art Ecologie premise is to promote one another in our individual art in bringing attention to who we are by different means and different vehicles. We are all artists, different in our media, our techniques, our voice, but we all have one thing in common - passion for creating and the ability to step outside our everyday skills to create something different as a group.

This movement starts with creating fashion pieces from recycled materials, paper, wood, clay, metal, plastic, fabric, and anything discarded… film, brushes, caps, canvas… The end result of the collective efforts is amazing, striking, creatively challenging… A group to be followed, a show that must be seen…
